The Verdugo Woodlands    

     Verdugo Woodlands West is a beautiful residential area in north-eastern Glendale. It encompasses the area West of Verdugo Road, South of Oakmont Country Club, and North of Verdugo Park. It is nestled in a lush valley between the Verdugo Mountains on the West and the San Rafael Hills to the East. 

     The Woodlands is named for and filled with a wonderful combination of trees including California Live Oak, Evergreen, Jacaranda, Sycamore, and Palm. It has a rich Spanish, Mexican and American history dating from 1784. The oldest existing structure, the Catalina Verdugo Adobe, was constructed around 1860.

Montrose Shopping Park

     The Montrose Shopping Park includes the 2200, 2300 and 2400 blocks of Honolulu Ave., the 3600, 3700 and 3800 blocks of Ocean View Blvd., Montrose Ave. just North and just South of Honolulu  Ave., Thompson Court and the Boardwalk Courtyard of Shops.
